Day 45

Dear Daddy,

So today after I had gone down to bed I got to talk to you and see you on the computer! I'm sorry I was so sleepy and I didn't want to talk but I had a long day! I played too much and ate alot all of today. I'm sure Mommy told you everything we did today! 

Mommy also set up the Mickey train set you got for my birthday and I loved it. I took it off the track and was chasing after it.

Day 44

Dear Daddy,

Today I had a day full of boo-boos. I was playing by the kitchen, I know, I know, Mommy told me not to but I did it anyway, and I smashed my finger on the glass door. I cried and Mommy put some ice on it. Later I wanted to open the cabinets and I accidentally closed it on my finger. I cried again and got more ice. I also had to get blood drawn...that was NOT fun. But I tried to be a big boy and not cry so much. 

After we went to the hospital, Mommy and I went to the post office to see if they had boxes but they didn't have the ones we needed so we went home. After that, Adrienne and Brandon came over and Brandon and I played and continued our plan to take over the world. We went for a walk later because we were both being poops and not taking naps and I did take a nap. When I woke up Mommy was alone and she was cooking some food for me. 

We decided to go for a walk in my wagon and ended up going to see Grandma and Grandpa. I loved my wagon! 

Miss you so much Daddy and I cant wait for you to come home and play with me and all my toys. I know Mommy can't wait either!

Day 43

Dear Daddy,

Today Mommy and I got to sleep in...well, at least until 8:15, it's better than 6 am! When I woke up Mommy changed my diaper and then put me in my crib. She put a Baby Einstein Video in for me and then went back to bed. Eventually, she went and got me out of my crib and attacked me with kisses and hugs. I love playing with Mommy! After that I had some breakfast and then Mommy and I played with my toys some more. We played with my ball popper and my farm for awhile and then Mommy ate breakfast while I saw a video. When she was done she dressed me and I got to wear my new 49ers jersey. I looked very cute and Mommy snapped some cute pictures of me, here's her favorite one:

After Mommy and everyone got ready, we had to go to Target because I didn't have any diapers. Mommy was hoping that I would make it until Friday with the diapers I had because she doesn't get paid until then but she decided to not take any risks. After Target Mommy stopped to pick up some lunch because she had to got to work and she knew she was in for a long day. After that we went to drop her off. 

Grandma took me to see Grandma Adela and Grandpa Toño and we stayed there for awhile until it was time to go to church around 5. I squaked like a bird at church and Grandma was getting mad because I wouldn't be quiet. 

I started getting really tired so Grandma got me ready for bed and put a movie on, hoping that I would stay awake until Mommy got home. I actually fell asleep in my chair while my movie was playing and when I woke up Mommy was home! She got out late and wasn't happy about it but she said that it didn't matter because she was finally able to see me. I hadn't seen her in almost nine hours so I was so excited to see her that I kissed her whole face and wouldn't stop saying Mamá. It actually brought tears to her eyes, but then again, you know how sappy she is!

Day 42

Dear Daddy,

I'm writing a day late about Day 42 because Mommy got distracted and forgot about it...silly Mommy! She was too busy talking to you online and she forgot! Well today we went to Jeffrey's and ate some hamburgers. Actually, I didn't really eat burgers, I had some pieces of meat but what I really munched on were on PICKLES! I loved them. Mommy said that when she was pregnant she would cover her burgers in pickles so it's no surprise that I liked them!

I was very happy and was screaming and laughing all the time we were there! All the guys that work there said I was a funny kid.

The rest of the day was boring, and then I had to say bye to Tia Yola because she would be leaving. I am going to miss her, it seems like she just got here and then she had to leave all of a sudden. Mommy put me to bed and then she said that she got to talk to you and then she took Tia Yola to the Airport. As soon as Mommy got back she went into the room to change and then I smelled her and decided it was time for my midnight snack!

Day 41

Dear Daddy,

Today was yet another boring day. This being sick and not being to go out is really getting on my nerves. The only time I went out was to go pick Mommy up and that was because I clung onto Grandma's leg and cried. 

Mommy was so tired, she had a bad day at work and was feeling very icky so she wanted to take a nap but I was giving her a hard time and didn't want to nap. When I saw how mad she was getting I decided that it would be in my best interest to take a nap...

After we woke up, we had some dinner and then we played for awhile until it was time to get ready for my bath and then bed time. 

See, boring day!

Day 40

Dear Daddy,

Today was a very boring day but it was cool because Mommy and I got to talk to you and see you on the computer! Mommy was so happy she couldn't stop smiling and I was happy too. I hadn't seen Mommy smile that big since you left. Well, except for when she sees me of course! She was very frustrated because she couldn't get you to see us but she's hoping she can fix that.

I'm feeling much better now, and I'm trying to climb onto furniture now but I think I'm too fat! I'll keep trying and hopefully I will be able to climb onto everything!

I love you Daddy, and I cant wait for you to be home so I can hold your hand and play with you. Mommy says sorry that she hasn't uploaded pictures lately but she can't find the cord for her camera. Then again, it's probably because there is a huge mess in the room! Mommy has been wanting to fix the room but today she had to do lots and lots of my laundry and make me some food so she had no time.

Day 39

Dear Daddy,

Mommy and I are still sick. I woke her up every two hours and would eat a little then go back to bed so it was no surprise when Mommy woke up very exhausted in the morning. She really wasn't feeling well at all. I felt bad so I stayed in bed until 8:30 and eventually she got up to take a shower, hoping that would make her feel better. After getting ready she let me go into the living room while she got my breakfast ready. Julia saw how sick Mommy looked so she told her to go back to bed for a little and she fed me. She felt very weak and when I wanted boob and wanted to take a nap she was happy because she would be able to nap too. After our little nap Mommy had some breakfast while I watched a movie. She took some medicine and just relaxed in bed while I played in my crib. After about forty five minutes or so, Mommy felt a little better so she did her make up and changed and then got me dressed and we all went out to the mall. Mommy got some plates that she wanted at this one store and then we headed off to the doctor because I had my one year appointment.

I weigh 26 lbs and 3 oz, I lost a few ounces since I'm sick and haven't been eating as much but the doctor isn't concerned. I measured 31 inches, which means I grew 10 inches in one year! Can you belive that Daddy? If I go at this rate I'm going to be bigger than you in no time! Dr Madanant said that I have a virus, that's why Mommy got sick too, and that there is no need for medicine other than Tylenol or Motrin to relive discomfort. I was hoping that I was going to get away with it since I was sick but I ended up getting FOUR shots! I was angy when they poked me with the needle but I was a big boy and didn't cry alot.

 Turns out I have to get blood drawn too but Mommy said she wont take me to get that done for a few days. Good, maybe she will forget. When I got home I had some chicken soup that Mommy made for the two of us this morning and it was so yummy that I ate an entire bowl of it. I need to get my weight back up!
