Day 75

Dear Daddy, 

Today Mommy had to work so I stayed with Grandma. We did some laundry and played with my toys and then it was time to pick Mommy up. We came home and Mommy had lunch with Grandma while I played with my toys. Grandma had to go to work so Mommy and I were alone. Mommy put Baby Motzart for me while she did her exercises. She did an extra workout since I wanted to watch Baby Macdonald and when she was done she took a shower and we went down for a nap. 

I woke up only an half an hour later and was not going to sleep. Mommy decided that we should go to the park and to get some frozen yogurt. I went in the wagon and off we went. I ate pretty much half of the small frozen yogurt Mommy got and then we went to the park where I went down the slides, went on the swings and played in the plastic train. It started getting cold so we headed back home.

Once back at home, Mommy started getting dinner ready. I had some chicken soup with veggies and also some pasta with cheese. Mommy also gave me a special treat, she made a mango milkshake and I drank it right away and wanted more. She still had some left over in the blender so she filled my cup again but I only drank half. When Mommy took me out of the high chair I went over to the fridge and I pulled out one of my YoBaby Blueberry yogurts and handed it to Mommy. So I had a very big dinner!

Mommy and I played for awhile and then we made a video for you too. Then it was time to get ready for bathtime. I was very tired but I went over to my toy bin and pulled out "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" and went back over to Mommy so she could read it to me. I wanted her to read it twice and when she was done I said "Moon" because I wanted to read "Goodnight Moon" too. After that we went to the room and I went to sleep in my crib. I was so tired!

Day 74

Dear Daddy,

Today we had such a busy day. Mommy was off and we had to go to buy groceries because we had like no food at home except for baby food. We also went to the new Costco in Redwood City to buy some stuff for you but we couldn't find what we wanted. I was so tired in Costco that I fell asleep in the shopping cart Mommy wanted to take a picture of me sleeping but her phone had died and for once she didn't have the camera with her. We went home and then we had lunch because we were all so hungry. A little later, Mommy tried to get me to take a nap because she had to go somewhere and she wanted me to be sleeping so I wouldn't give Tia Dany trouble. I did fall asleep for Tia Dany but only for about twenty minutes. Mommy came home and found me wide awake so we started carving pumpkins. Here is mine! Mommy made it to look like me, with my little gap teeth and silly face.

and theses are three of the pumpkins Mommy carved, we still have two more to go but she was tired so she's doing the rest of them tomorrow.

Day 73

Dear Daddy,

 Today Mommy had to work and I stayed with Grandma. We also took Grandma Adela to drop some paperwork off  and after we went to her house and I got to play with Quetzali. Abuela Nena was making some food for Tio Daniel and it smelled so yummy that I wanted some. I had some beans and Abuela Nena heated up a tortilla for Tio Daniel and I snatched away and ate it. Everyone laughed. I was also happy to see Tia Angelica because I hadn't seen her in a long, long time. She said she was making taquitos and gorditas on Sunday so I'm so excited! They are so yummy, I know Mommy used to eat them all the time when I was in her belly.

Finally, we picked Mommy up and came home. Mommy had a quick lunch and then a little while later I watched a movie while Mommy did her exercises. I was laughing so hard because Mommy was jumping up and down like a crazy person. Soon, Mommy was done jumping around and she cooled down then took a quick shower and then we cuddled up for our nap. I had a very long nap and I woke up very happy.

I had some dinner and then Mommy and I played until she and the family had dinner. While everyone was eating, Grandpa came and we played with all my toys and played bull fighter. He would hold up a cloth and I would crawl towards it and he would move it and say "olé" it was so much fun. But then Grandpa had to go and I got ready for my bath and then bed. Mommy read me my favorite book in the whole world, Good Night Moon, and then I went to bed

Day 72

Dear Daddy,

Today I had to go to the doctor's to get my second dose of my flu shot. I was a big brave boy and didn't cry one bit! Everyone was surprised that I was so brave.

After the doctor's office, we went to Stacks. I fell asleep and slept on the bench of the booth but when I woke up Mommy shared some of her frittata and I had some milk too. It was all very yummy.

We came home and I had my lunch and then Mommy put a Baby Einstein movie in while she did her exercises. After both her workout DVD and my Baby Einstein videos were done we played but Mommy was a big pile of mush because the workout made her very tired. Soon we decided it was time for a nap so we slept on the couch and when I woke up Mommy was finishing dinner up and then we went for a walk. We saw the train pass by at least 3 times and I was so excited to see it. Soon, we went home and then set the table. When Grandma came home we all sat down. I had albondigas and ate everything. Then I started acting silly and making everyone laugh.

  As, you can see, I am a huge dork, just like you. But I love making everyone laugh! Grandma Adela and Grandpa Toño came over so I played with them until it was time for bathtime and bedtime.

Day 71

Dear Daddy,

Today Mommy worked and I went to church with Grandma and Tia Dany. We went to Ihop after and I ate some pancake and some egg and some fruit. I loved it! After breakfast, we went to the stores and looked around and when it was time to pick Mommy up we did. Mommy had to buy some things from Target and then we had to stop at Babies R Us because I was out of shampoo and body wash. Mommy was very hungry so we made a stop at Armadillo Willy's and she got me a grilled cheese sandwich but I was more interested in eating chickie wings. 

I was soooo exhausted because I hadn't taken a good nap and Mommy and I decided that it was time to relax and take a nap. I don't know how long we slept but when we woke up, Grandpa was here and I got to play with him. I also ate dinner and then played some more. Soon, Grandpa said bye  and I played some more.

Mommy isn't to thrilled she's scared that I will fall...but I'm such a pro already! She managed to snap a few more pictures of me today including this one...

Day 70

Dear Daddy,

Today started off a pretty boring day. Mommy had to work and she got off early but Grandma had to take Tia Dany and her friends to the mall so Mommy and I didn't fit it the car so we had to stay home. Mommy and Brandon's Mommy were talking and since they both said they were bored and that the kids, meaning Brandon and I, were bored at home it was time for an playdate. So the day wasn't boring after all! Brandon and I had a very good time playing together and the Mommies had a good time too. Here are some pictures of today

After Brandon left, Mommy and I took a walk and then I had dinner. I was pretty tired but was giving Mommy a hard time since I was trying to fight sleep. I eventually did fall asleep though and that's good because Mommy was so tired!

Day 69

Dear Daddy,

Today when we went to pick Mommy up from work we went to the park first at Foster City and I saw a whole lot of ducks! I was so excited, and I walked a whole lot today holding onto Grandma's hand. When I saw Mommy come out of Starbucks, I  got so excited, I let go of Grandma's hand and went towards Mommy, and took a few steps on my own! I'm getting better, soon I will master this walking skill.

We stopped at Trader Joes to buy some things and we also bought some more pumpkins. Mommy wants us to carve some pumpkins, I don't know what that means so I guess I will have to wait. As we were leaving, Mommy saw that the halloween store was where Circuit  City use to be and she decided to take me in because I love Halloween things. Oh Daddy, it was awesome. Grandma thought I was going to get scared but I loved all the monsters and zombies and spiders and everything. Mommy got me a trick or treating bucket. I don't know why I need a bucket to play tricks on people, guess it's one of those weird things that grownups do.

We went home and Mommy tried to get me to nap but I refused. She ate a late lunch/early dinner and since I stuffed my face with boob I wasn't hungry. Tia Dany had to go look for a dress for some dance and Mommy wanted to go to Macy's so we went and I got bored. Eventually we were done and we went home, I had dinner and then got ready for bed. My tummy is kind of hurting and I have a ton of gas so I feel uncomftorable. Must have been those beans I ate.

Day 68

Dear Daddy,

Today Mommy had to work so I had to stay with Grandma. I scared her today because I found a new hiding spot and was waiting for her to find me. She started panicking because she was calling my name for about a bajillion minutes until I decided to come out of hiding. It was so silly how much she was freaking out, I mean, true, I can reach the door knob but I still haven't gotten the secret of opening the door.

Soon, Mommy came home, and I played while she had a quick lunch and took a shower.She thinks she is getting sick so I told her we needed to take a nap together. Mommy and I took a nap on the couch around 2:30 and she woke me up at 5:30 because Grandpa got here. I had my dinner and then we went for a walk while Mommy relaxed. When I got home Grandma came home and they were getting dinner ready for them so I played with Grandpa some more.

While everyone ate I had a cookie and acted silly. Then it was time for us to get ready for bathtime, book time, boob time and bedtime

Day 67

Dear Daddy,

The day started off around 8 for us, Mommy changed my poopie diaper and I wasn't done so the woman got punished by me pooping on the bed. She turned around to put the dirty diaper in the diaper genie and then sat down on the bed to put the clean diaper on me. Right when she sat down...SPLAT! She sat on my poop. You should've seen her face when she realized there was poo on her thigh. She cleaned up and then put the sheets in the wash and went and gave me breakfast. I was very hungry and ate one egg with cheese, banana, apple and papaya, and some milk. Oh, and a yogurt. Durning breakfast, you called and we got to talk to you! I was so happy to see you.

After all that, we got ready for the day and went to buy some new sheets at Ross. Then Mommy told me that Brandon was coming over for a playdate so we went home. I had so much fun with Brandon today. The Mom's put our Niner's jerseys on and took a bunch of pictures of us. 

They also tried getting one of us in our halloween costumes but we weren't having it! So they gave up. Soon we had to say goodbye and then Mommy and I took a little nap. When I woke up I was cranky and wanted Mommy to hold me the whole time. She hopes I'm not getting sick, I hope I don't get sick either. When it was time for dinner I didn't really want to eat and then at bedtime I gave Mommy a hard time going to sleep. Hopefully it is just teething!

Day 66

Dear Daddy,

  Today, Mommy had to work so I stayed with Grandma in the morning. When Mommy was off, we went to Target to buy diapers. We went through the Halloween section and I went crazy. I love Halloween decorations! I saw a plastic pumpkin and I loved it so much I begged Mommy to get it for me. She wasn't going to get it but I made my sad face and that convinced  her! 

We went home and I played while Grandma and Mommy ate. Grandma was eating ceviche so when she got up to get some napkins, I reached over the table to get a taste. The plate came falling on me and I got shrimp in my hair  and on the floor. Mommy rushed up so fast because she didn't want me to try it. She ran to the bathroom with me to wash my hands and then she saw me chewing on something. She stuck her finger in my mouth and pulled out a half eaten shrimp. Evil woman, trying to hog all the yummyness from me! My day will come though and I shall eat all the chile and shrimp I want! Muahahahhahahaha!

It was time to take our nap so we curled up and fell asleep for two hours and then when woke up, it was time to eat dinner. I ate very well and as I was finishing up, Grandma and Grandpa came over and since I ate so well, I went for a walk with Grandpa.

Day 65

Dear Daddy, 

Today Mommy was off and we got to wake up together. It was a good day because you called us and told us to get on the computer to see you. I was happy to see you and to show you how I do "belly button" and other things. Seeing you reminded me of how much I miss you. Mommy said the same thing too. 

After we were done talking to you we went to the grocery store to buy some food for me. Mommy bought me some things called YoBaby 3-in-1 meals which have yogurt and a fruit and veggie puree. They are sooooo yummy, I think they are my new favorite thing! Mommy only bought three so I could try them since she had a coupon but I think she should've bought more because I plan on eating them all very soon!

Mommy started cooking me food as soon as we got home and she left it simmering while she and I took a nap on the couch. I can't tell you how much I love naptime with Mommy. Here is a picture Tia Dany got of the two of us while we slept on the couch, the only thing that is missing here to make this picture perfect is you, Daddy, but I know that when you come back we will snuggle up, maybe not on the couch, but snuggle up we shall.

When we woke up it was almost dinner time so Mommy started making me my food. She made a hamburger patty and gave me veggies and other things. I even tried feeding myself using the fork but it's a whole lot harder than everyone makes it seem!

Day 64

Dear Daddy,

Today Mommy was awake when I woke up, she said she went to bed at around 2 and she woke up at 6:45 and couldn't go back to sleep. She put me in the crib and made the bed and then put a movie in for me. We were thinking about going to church but Mommy didn't want to wake Grandma up  just yet because she wasn't sure if Grandma was going to go. Mommy took a 30 minute nap while I watched my movie and then when Mommy heard Grandma go into the bathroom and take a shower, we got up and got ready for church. 

At church I saw Tio Eve, Tia Nico, Tia Ely and Tio Elmer and they had Alicia with them! I was happy to see my baby cousin, I even gave her a kiss! 

When church was over, we went to Burlingame Avenue and had some breakfast at Crepevine and I got to eat some of Mommy and Grandma's food, I even tried some of Grandma's carrot juice, which I loved! We had to pay Grandma's phone bill so we went to the Verizon store and Mommy also bought a new cover for her phone since the old one she had was all ripped because I bit it all the time. They also went to other stores and eventually we got to leave because I was bored. 

We went to Grandma Adela's house and I got to play and see Alicia again, and then went for a walk with Grandpa. Since I was tired, we only stayed for about an hour and a half and then went home to nap. 

After naptime we had to go to a party so off we went. When we got there I saw Grandma and Grandpa so I was happy. Grandpa took me to the brinca brinca but I didn't get to go inside because there were too many big kids. It looked like fun though! I can't wait until I'm old enough to go inside. I had some yummy pasta at the party but Mommy was really tired so she wanted to go home. We left at around 6:30 and when we got home I ate some more and then it was time to start getting ready for bed.

Day 63

Dear Daddy,

Today was a very busy day! Tia Dany was going to have her birthday get together so we had to run a whole bunch of errands to get everything ready. When we went to pick Mommy up, we came home and then took a nap and when we woke up, we had to go to Costco to pick up the pizzas. As soon as we got home, Mommy and Tia Dany finished setting up for the party. Soon enough, Tia Dany's friends started showing off and I some of them played with me. I was the center of attention with all the girls and they couldn't get enough of me until I had to get ready for bathtime and then bed. 

They were kinda loud though so I woke up a few times until Mommy told them that they needed to not be so loud so I can sleep.

Day 62

Dear Daddy,

Today, since Mommy was at work all morning, Grandma and I did some chores and then we decided to go visit Grandma Adela. I had a whole lot of fun because I got to play with the kids and especially Beto. I had so much fun playing with him! Soon, it was time to get Mommy from work. We came home and Mommy was not happy because I decided not to nap today. Mommy was exhausted and she just wanted to sleep but I was being difficult.

We decided to play with my toys and then later Grandpa came and we went for a walk before dinner time. It was so much fun to get to go out and see something other than the living room. I ate some dinner when I got back from my walk and played a little with Grandpa and soon we started getting ready for bed.

Day 61

Dear Daddy,

Today we had a whole lot of things to do in the morning again. Grandma, Tia Dani and I had to go to the dentist because Tia Dani needed to get something done to her teeth. We had to do other things too but they weren't worth remembering really. 

Around 12:30 we went to pick up Mommy and I fell asleep in the car. I woke up when she was trying to take me out of the carseat and when I saw her I saw we decided to take a nap. We were both really tired so we took an hour and a half nap but I was still tired when I woke up because I didn't nap in the morning. I decided that I didn't want to sleep anymore though because I wanted to play and make a mess. 

Mommy was getting really mad because I kept knocking over the candles or biting into them so she kept putting me in time out in my crib. I was not happy whenever she would put me in my crib and I would scream and cry. She swears she was only putting me in for 3-5 minutes but it seemed like hours were passing by. Eventually we just snuggled on the couch and watched the food network together. It was good to just relax with Mommy. We played with my little soccer ball and Mommy taught me to kick the ball. When I kick it Mommy says "Gooooool! De Gabie!" and I love when she does because it makes the game so much more interesting.  Mommy got my dinner ready. I ate Caldo de Res that she made and then I had some apple sauce, yogurt and some little beet cubes.  I also had some milk too. Grandpa came over and we played inside and I showed him how I kick the ball and then we played some more.

Soon it was time to say bye to Grandpa and get ready for bed. Mommy read the three little pigs and I was cracking up when she was doing the voices for the little pigs and the wolf. I love when Mommy reads to me. 

Miss you so much Daddy, can't wait to hear from you again, I always look on the computer when Mommy is on it to see if she is talking to you but she's not and it makes me sad.

Day 60

Dear Daddy,

Today was a very boring day. There was no more rain so I couldn't wear my rain boots or raincoat. Mommy started late today, almost at nine so she was there when I woke up. She got ready and gave me breakfast, then we went to drop her off. Grandma and I had to run some errands and then we came home because we needed to clean the house and do laundry. That was very boring so I took a nap later. 

When I woke up I ate lunch and then we went to go visit Grandma Adela and I played with all the kids and had a great time. Then it was time to pick Mommy up. When we got home Mommy had lunch and then we played. I watched a video while Mommy showered and then we snuggled up on the couch and took a nap. I woke up about an hour and a half later and we got to play with all my toys. Mommy and I played with my ball popper and then we played with my dump truck and other cars and train. It was so much fun. 

Then, someone knocked and I went to see who it was and it was Grandma Adela. I was happy to see her again. Grandpa came a little while after and then Granma Koko got home too. I played with everyone and then it was time for dinner. I ate a whole lot so I played some more so I wouldn't feel so full. I had to say bye to Grandma and Grandpa and then we got ready for bath and bedtime.

Day 58

Dear Daddy,

Today was the first rainstorm of the year. Everyone was saying how it was raining cats and dogs, but when I looked outside all I saw was water falling from the sky. Today was also Tia Dani's birthday so we took her to to school, since it was pouring and her umbrella broke, and after that we had to go to get the car checked out to make sure everything was running ok. I got to wear my new raincoat and rain hat and I looked adorable, if I do say so myself.

I came home and had lunch and then we had to go pick Mommy up. Once we picked her up we had to stop at Target to buy some umbrellas for all of us and Mommy also got me some rainboots. She wanted the rubber kind that the big kids have but she decided on getting some that are very warm and we can even use them if we go to the snow in the winter. After Target, we stopped at the bakery to buy Tia Dani a cake and then headed home.

It was raining so hard and the wind was blowing like crazy! Mommy didn't want me near the windows because branches were flying everywhere outside. You know how paranoid she is! I watched a movie while Mommy had a quick lunch and then we snuggled up on the couch with a blanket and I had some boob and then we took a nice long nap. It was great. Mommy says rain and yucky weather calls for extra snuggle time, I like that idea. When we woke up Mommy started getting ready so we could go out to dinner with Grandma and Tia Dani. We went to Macaroni Grill and had some yummy food. Mommy shared some of her pasta and I had some yummy bread too. I even got to have an apple juice and I got to bring my special cup home. Mommy let me try to draw on the table and I liked it but then I got curious and wanted to eat the crayon so she took it away from me. 

I was getting very cranky and sleepy so when we got home, Mommy got my bath ready and then we did our bedtime routine and soon enough, I fell fast asleep.

Day 57

Dear Daddy,

Today Mommy was surprised that we woke up at 9:25! I guess we were both very tired! When we woke up, Mommy made the bed and cleaned the room and then we went to get breakfast. I had some apples & cinnamon oatmeal,  a little container of yogurt and some pear-applesauce. Mommy put a video on so she could shower and then after that I got to play with my toys and Mommy. Around 11 I started getting fussy but Mommy put me in my seat and put another video on so she could cook something real quick but when she looked at me I was asleep. She had lunch and watched tv, then I woke up and she held me and we both cuddled on the couch and took a two hour nap. It was nice to just nap like that, we use to do that when I was a baby! When I woke up for good, I had lunch and then we played. Soon Mommy started getting me ready to go outside and I put on a new jacket that Mommy got me and my gloves and hat and we went for a ride in the wagon. It was a chilly day so Mommy was craving some apple cider and we stopped at Starbucks for some. I was curious what Mommy was drinking so once it cooled a little she gave me a sip. I loved it. I can see Mommy and I sharing some apple cider on cold days becoming a tradition. 

We got back home and played some more. Mommy read me like 6 books that I wanted her to read to me and we played with my dump truck and ball popper. It was a great day. Mommy said she loved today too, we both agree that it would have been better if you were here though too.

Day 56

Dear Daddy,

Today I was sad when I woke up because Mommy wasn't there. I cried a lot, it's not fair that she has to work and leave me. Especially because I still want the boob. I did not want any milk. Grandma tried giving me Mommy's milk in the bottle but that made me angry. How dare they think that they can fool me! Then Grandma tried whole milk but I didn't want that either. I woke up super early, at 6 I was already in the living room playing with my toys. 

We went to church and after that we came home for awhile before we had to go pick Mommy up. Once we picked her up, we went to the mall because Tia Hayde was there and she wanted to give me my birthday present since she couldn't make it to my party. 

After the mall, we went to Grandma & Grandpa's house and I got to meet my Nino's baby Alicia. She is so cute and so much smaller than I am. Everyone said I looked like a tank next to a little VW bug next to her. 

I would hear her cry and would go see what was wrong, I can already see how I am going to be when I have a little brother or sister, I am going to protect them from anyone that tries to hurt them. Mommy kept saying that she remember when I was a baby and getting all mushy-gushy and hugging me and acting like, well, like Mommy does. You know how she is.

We came home and relaxed, even took a little nap, and then went to Burlingame because Mommy had to exchange some things at Gymboree because they didn't fit me. 

After we came home we all had dinner and then got ready for bed. Mommy read "Goodnight Moon" twice to me and I went down to bed very happy and was asleep right away.

Day 55

Dear Daddy,

Mommy was off again today and we slept till almost 9. We had a boring day, lounging around at home and playing with my toys. Mommy was going to have an early dinner with her friend Martha and Grandma was going to watch me. Grandma had to go back to work and Mommy hadn't finished her dinner but she told Grandma to drop me off at the restaurant where she was having dinner and so she did. I was sleeping and when I woke up I was happy to see Mommy. She gave me some beans and rice because I wanted some of her food. I also had some tortilla too. Here is a picture of Martha, Mommy and I at the restaurant.

Soon, it was time for us to come home. I ate dinner and pretty much as soon as we got home Grandma and Grandpa came over. The men played and the women chit chatted and ate cake. Ok, I had some cake too, but I'm still a man! 

Today was a very fun day. After Grandma and Grandpa we got ready for bed and Mommy read me my favorite book that had been MIA for a long time. I missed Goodnight Moon!

Day 55

Dear Daddy,

 I was happy when I woke up this morning because Mommy was right there with me for the second day in a row. She took some time off from work which makes me the happiest kid on the block...No bottles, just boob, what more can a kid ask for? 

I was not happy when I went into the livingroom and saw that Julia was not there. Mommy and Grandma told me that she was gone on her trip to Chile and I wont see her in a few months. It makes me sad because Julia always would cook me yummy oatmeal and play ball with me and sing to me. It's sad but when I see her I am going to run up to her and give her a big hug.

Today we went to visit Grandma and It was fun because I got to play with Quetzali. After that, we went to the Mall and then went home. We took a nap and then when I woke up I had some dinner and played. Grandma came home early because Mommy was going to go out with Adrienne and I was going to stay home. I said bye to Mommy and then I went for a walk with Grandma while Mommy left.When Mommy got home, I was ready for bed so she put me to bed.

Day 54

Dear Daddy,

Today was Mommy's Birthday! The second best day evo! Mommy didn't work and we slept in till after 8:30. We had breakfast and then started getting ready for the day. After a short nap, Mommy and Grandma told me that we were going to lunch at Benihana and I got excited because I love the rice. 

When we got home, Mommy was excited to find a huge flower arrangement from you! I'm not kidding, it is bigger than me! She was so happy! We took a nap later, and played a whole lot. Soon, enough, I had my dinner and got ready for bed. Mommy was going to go out with Karina so she wanted to leave me sleeping already so I wouldn't give Grandma any trouble. I was good and went right to sleep! I am a little angel after all!

Day 53

Dear Daddy,

Today Mommy had to work again and I stayed with Julia and Grandma. We played with my toys and went for a walk. When we went to pick Mommy up, since we left early, we went for a walk around Foster City until it was time to go see Mommy. I missed her so much so when I saw her I smiled and tried walking towards her. I took three steps toward her and wrapped my arms around her. I gave her a huge kiss and smiled. She smiled too, I know she misses me a lot while she's at work, she says she has to hug and kiss me enough for the two of you guys.

We went home and ate lunch and then we took a small nap. Then we had to go to Burlingame so Mommy could get her eyebrows done. I fell asleep the whole time and woke up when we were in the makeup store. Then Grandma picked us up and we went home. We ate and then I went for a walk when Grandpa came and picked me up. After that it was time for us to get ready for bathtime and bed time.

Day 52

Dear Daddy,

Today was just another boring day. Mommy worked so I had to stay with Grandma and Julia. They took me for a walk and I had fun seeing the animals like the squirrels and birds. 

After we picked Mommy up, we came home and had lunch and then Mommy and I took a nap. As I said, boring. When we woke up we played for awhile with all my toys and Mommy kept trying to help me walk but I'm being stubborn and not wanting to walk. Julia says that I will walk when I feel like it, which is true. I'm the prince, so I will decide when and where I will start walking. Right?

Day 51

Dear Daddy,

Today I woke up a little better so Mommy thought I was up for the playdate we had planned. I refused to nap so by the time it was time for the playdate I was starting to get fussy. It only got worse, I didn't want to share my toys and I wasn't having fun so we went for a walk and I took a nap. I napped for almost an hour and a half but woke up even crankier than before. Brandon and Adrienne left when they saw that I just wanted to be with Mommy and then we went to nurse. She was hoping that I would fall asleep again but I didn't. So I was cranky for the rest of the day and Mommy was not having a good day so we were both having a bad day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Day 50

Dear Daddy,

I'm writing a day late since yesterday after Mommy got off work she had to take me to the after hour doctor because I was not feeling well at all. So we got home pretty late and couldn't update. 

The doctor said I was fine, but I don't feel fine and have been giving everyone a hard time and being very fussy.

Day 49

Dear Daddy,

Today was a very special day. Mommy, Grandma Koko, Julia and I went to the pumpkin patch! There was a ton of traffic on the way there but as soon as we pulled into the parking lot I started getting excited because I could see the pumpkins and scarecrows and the train. I had such a great time! I was on a mission to find the perfect pumpkin and along the way I went on the train, saw the animals and of course, Mommy was there armed with her camera so here are some pictures of today!

Finally, I found my pumpkin! It's small and round, just like me!

We really missed you today and we really wished you were with us but next year for sure you will be and we will have so much fun choosing our pumpkins and playing at the pumpkin patch!

Day 48

Dear Daddy,

Today was a very long day. Grandma and I went to run a whole lot of errands today and then we went to pick Mommy up from work. We came home and ate lunch and played awhile while we got ready to go pick up Grandma from the hospital. When we got there almost at two, Tia Brenda said that the doctors said that Grandma could not go home until they gave her another dose of the antibiotics in her IV but that took forever to do. So since I started getting fussy, Mommy took me to the Children's Hospital to see the train. I just loved the train!

 It was so cool! 

We also went up to the window of the nursery and we saw a bunch of little babies including a set of twin girls. They were so cute that I was blowing kisses at them. After that Mommy took me down to the gift shop and bought me an Elmo book. 

We went back to Grandma's room and Tia Brenda said she was hungry so we went down to the cafeteria and got some food. When we went back up to the room the nurse told Grandma it was time to go home so we finally went home around 5:30. We dropped Grandma and Tia Brenda off and then came home to eat dinner and play.

I was so happy because I got to talk to you today! I love seeing you on the computer and hearing your voice!

Day 47

Dear Daddy,

Well, today was like any other day, I woke up bright and early, ate breakfast, played, pooped, napped. After I woke up from my nap Mommy was home so we played and then we all had lunch. We decided to play some more and then Mommy put me in the wagon and we headed for a walk. Mommy got the most awesome idea on our walk and took me to the park. When we got there I was so excited I was pointing at everything and I was excited to get on the swing. After that, I played on the little train and then tried to climb on the slide. I made some friends and played with them, I even stole one of the kid's pepe and put it in my mouth.

It was really sunny and we were dressed too warm so we headed home. When we got home I played it the wagon and I learned to climb in and out of it. Now I'm a pro!

We were so tired so we took a little nap and when I woke up, Mommy fed me dinner and changed my diaper so we could go see Grandma at the hospital. When Grandma Koko got home we went to see her. While we were there, you called and Grandma was very happy to hear your voice. So was Tia Brenda and of course, Mommy was too. We kept Grandma company until it was time to go home. I was so tired that I fussed the whole car ride home. Mommy gave me a super quick bath, read me a book and fed me. I was out within five minutes.

Day 46

Dear Daddy,

I am writing a day late because as you know now, Grandma had to get her surgery so we went to visit her yesterday. She was so happy to see me, she say's I give her energy. She is such a strong woman, Mommy says it's very admirable. Mommy says her surgery wasn't like last time so that's why she doesn't look bad. A  little tired but really close to her normal self. She's sad because the doctors said she can't lift anything heavy, including me. Excuse me? Who are they calling "heavy"?

Well, we got home close to 9 and Mommy put me to bed and then ate dinner because she was starving. And then she went to bed because she was very tired. 

Miss you so much Daddy and I know we all wish you were here and I'm sure you wish the same. I know you wish you could be with your Mommy but don't worry, I'm big and strong and will take care of her.
